World Book Day March 2022

Despite the West End in Schools cancelling on us late last yesterday, the brilliant team here at RCFS rallied and we put together an impromptu staff performance of Alice in Wonderland for the children this morning.  Luckily the staff were all dressed up as different characters and it came together brilliantly!! We hope the children enjoyed it.

The children also enjoyed a special Alice in Wonderland trail, class based World book day activities and a fancy dress parade.

Congratulations to Y3 who entered the Burton Albion Community Trust World Book Day book review competition.  One of the class won, receiving a prize for themselves and a book full of books for school!  Amazing.

Remember everyone the power of reading and the power of books!!!! Keeeep reading!
