Mrs Tansley-Wood
Hello, I’m Mrs Tansley-Wood and I started here at Richard Clarke in 2022, originally as a Lunchtime Supervisor and then became a Support Teaching Assistant as well, in 2023, working alongside our Reception class.
Originally from Brighton, I moved to the West Midlands, and then to Derbyshire, and have spent my career in the fast paced environment of hairdressing, which has been a life-long passion of mine, and one I still thoroughly enjoy.
The chance to work alongside such an incredible and dedicated team at Richard Clarke, and to be a part of the journey for our children, is very special to me, and, I feel, a privilege. To watch the children grow in confidence and ability, and to be a part of that, is very fulfilling. Their energy and enthusiasm is infectious!
Outside of work, my passion is gardening and spending time with my two crazy dogs, Mabel and Ruby.

Mrs Towns

Hi I’m Mrs Towns and started my Richard Clarke journey back in 2014 when my daughter started in Reception, where I joined the team as a Lunchtime Supervisor and classroom volunteer. More recently I took up a Support Teaching Assistant role in Early Years class which I’m thrilled about and enjoy immensely. It’s a privilege to work in such a wonderfully creative and nurturing environment not only for the children but the staff as well. It’s a real joy to see the children’s enjoyment and progress throughout their school years. My background is in Nursing for 14 years, working in Intensive Care and Cancer Care. I have a passion for antiques so I’m often truffling for vintage treasure at the weekends and sampling caramel latte’s at local farm shops after a brisk walk with Ethel my naughty pugalier!
